Information you give us
- Newsletter: your email address when you join the Beast Squad.
- Contact form: your name, email address and the content of your message.
- Comments and reviews: your name, email address (never published), comment and optional star rating.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data such as browser type, device type and pages visited.
- Click activity on coupons and store links, which we use to count how popular offers are.
- A one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, used to prevent spam and duplicate votes. We do not store your raw IP address with your comments or votes.
Cookies and local storage
- Essential cookies: a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie that keep forms working safely.
- Favourites (cb_favs): stores the IDs of stores and coupons you save, so your favourites stay on your device. It contains no personal details.
- Analytics: if enabled, we use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used in aggregate.
- Affiliate cookies: when you click through to a store, that store or its affiliate network may set cookies to record that you came from CouponsBeast. These are controlled by the store or network under their own privacy policies.
